Penvy: AI Phone Cleaner – Privacy Policy

Penvy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles user data, including Gmail integration and on-device cleaning features.

  1. Overview

Penvy provides two types of functionality:

  • On-device phone cleaning (photos, files, storage optimization)
  • Gmail inbox management (email cleaning tools)
  1. Data Collection

Penvy does NOT collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers.

All core phone cleaning features operate entirely on your device.

  1. Google Account Access

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, Penvy uses Google Sign-In to securely authenticate you.

Access to your Gmail account is granted only after your explicit consent.

  1. Gmail Data Access

When connected, Penvy accesses Gmail data strictly to provide user-requested features, including:

  • Email metadata (sender, subject, size, date)
  • Limited email content (only as needed for display)

This data is accessed in real-time and is not permanently stored.

  1. How Gmail Data is Used

Gmail data is used only to:

  • Display emails within the app
  • Help identify large, unwanted, or unnecessary emails
  • Allow users to review and select emails
  • Perform deletion actions only when explicitly initiated by the user

Penvy does NOT:

  • Automatically delete emails
  • Access emails in the background
  • Use email data for advertising or analytics
  1. Data Storage and Sharing

Penvy does NOT store Gmail data on external servers.
Penvy does NOT sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.

All Gmail interactions are performed securely via Google’s official APIs.

  1. User Control

Users have full control over all actions:

  • Emails are always displayed before any action
  • Users must manually select emails
  • Deletion requires explicit confirmation

No automated or background actions are performed.

  1. On-Device Processing

All phone cleaning features (photos, files, storage analysis) are processed locally on your device.

No device data is uploaded or shared externally.

  1. Permissions

Penvy may request:

  • Photo Library Access → to detect duplicate or similar images
  • Storage Access → to analyze and clean files
  • Google Account Access → to enable Gmail features

All permissions are used solely for core app functionality.

  1. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Penvy complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Data accessed through Google APIs is used only to provide user-facing features and is never used for advertising, profiling, or resale.

  1. Security

We use secure authentication and communication methods to protect user data and ensure safe interaction with Google services.

  1. Children’s Privacy

Penvy does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app is designed to minimize data handling and operate safely.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
