Privacy Policy for Physics Tube for IIT JEE & NEET
Last Updated: June 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Physics Tube (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) handles, collects, protects, and handles user data when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store.
By downloading and using Physics Tube, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Data
Physics Tube is designed as a distraction-free educational directory.
- No Account Creation Required: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal identity details such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the App.
- User-Generated Content: If you create local custom playlists or save favorite chapters, this data is stored strictly on your local device storage and is not transmitted to our servers.
B. Automatically Collected Data & Third-Party Analytics
To optimize application stability and deliver contextual ad placements, the app uses reputable third-party SDKs that may automatically collect specific non-personally identifiable information, including:
- Device hardware model and operating system version.
- Unique device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID).
- IP address (coarse country/city level location only) and network performance data.
- App performance metrics, crash logs, and app activity (e.g., session durations or navigation patterns).
2. Third-Party Services & Content Streaming
Physics Tube operates as a curated directory platform. The App does not natively host or store any video content.
A. YouTube API Services
Our app displays public video content via embedded, official framework integrations (such as the standard YouTube IFrame Player API).
- By interacting with the integrated media players inside the App, you are interacting directly with third-party streaming networks.
- These actions are subject to the respective third-party’s rules. For more information, please review the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
- We do not collect, view, or store your private YouTube search logs, watch history, or account credentials.
B. Monetization & Analytics Partners
We integrate trusted developer tools to maintain app infrastructure. These third parties handle data under their respective privacy rules:
- Google Play Services: For core app performance and distribution.
- Google AdMob: For serving programmatic contextual advertisements. AdMob may utilize the Google Advertising ID to display relevant ads.
- Firebase Crashlytics / Google Analytics: To monitor real-time crashes, app errors, and anonymous usage telemetry so we can patch technical bugs quickly.
3. Data Processing & Security
- Data Retention: Because we do not store personal account information on remote web servers, we do not retain identifiable personal records. Telemetry logs and anonymous crash markers are managed by our cloud providers and are regularly scrubbed.
- Encryption in Transit: All network traffic communicating with third-party service providers or external resource endpoints is strictly handled via secure HTTPS transmission.
- Data Deletion: Local configurations, locally cached metadata, and bookmarked playlist content can be erased instantly at any time by wiping the App’s cache or uninstalling the app via your Android device settings.
4. Children’s Privacy
Physics Tube is a clean, structured study directory aimed at secondary school students preparing for competitive academic exams (IIT JEE and NEET).
- We do not intentionally target, collect, or process any information from children under the age of 13.
- If a parent or legal guardian discovers that their child has inadvertently transmitted device metrics through the app without parental authorization, please contact us using the information below so we can remove the entry from our partners’ telemetry pipelines.
5. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify or change this Privacy Policy over time to reflect updates to Google Play Developer Program policies, regional privacy legal statutes, or application iterations. We recommend checking this document regularly to keep track of any revisions.
