Terms of Service — Cine Filter

Welcome to Cine Filter (the “App”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using Cine Filter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Cine Filter is a mobile application that allows users to browse, search, and filter movie information sourced from third-party databases. The App is provided free of charge and supported by in-app advertising.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Cine Filter. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You may use the App as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

You may delete your account at any time from the App’s Settings screen or by contacting customer_support_penvy.cc.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers, networks, or third-party services.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the App.
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content.
Circumvent advertising or attempt to disable monetization features.
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Third-Party Content and Services

5.1 Movie Data — TMDB

Movie titles, descriptions, posters, ratings, cast, and crew information shown in the App are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All TMDB content remains the property of its respective owners.

5.2 Authentication — Google & Apple

Sign-in functionality is provided by Google and Apple. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms.

5.3 Advertising — Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. We do not control the content of ads and are not responsible for any ads, products, or services advertised. Clicking an ad will take you outside the App and is governed by the third-party advertiser’s terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, design, trademarks, and original content (excluding third-party data), is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. In-App Advertising

You acknowledge that Cine Filter is supported by advertising. Ads may be personalized based on your device’s advertising identifier, subject to your App Tracking Transparency permission. You may opt out of personalized ads at any time via iOS Settings.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Movie information is provided by third parties and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content displayed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the developer of Cine Filter be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 10.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Cine Filter from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to the App or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection laws. Otherwise, any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law in the developer’s jurisdiction.

14. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you obtained Cine Filter through Apple’s App Store, you also acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
In the event of any failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no further warranty obligations.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
