Welcome to the UAE Corporate Tax Calculator (the “Application”), a mobile application developed by Penvy (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using this Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Application.

1. Scope of Service & No Professional Advice

The Application is designed strictly as a directional math utility to assist business owners, freelancers, and accountants in estimating potential financial liabilities under UAE tax frameworks, including the 9% Corporate Tax, Small Business Relief (SBR) thresholds, and Free Zone eligibility criteria.

  • Educational Purpose Only: The calculations, summaries, checklist outcomes, and PDF exports generated by this Application do not constitute official legal, financial, accounting, or tax advice.
  • No Fiduciary Relationship: Your use of the Application does not create an accountant-client, attorney-client, or fiduciary relationship between you and Penvy.
  • Consult a Professional: Tax regulations in the United Arab Emirates move fast and are subject to official cabinet decisions and individual corporate auditing requirements. You should always consult a licensed, registered tax consultant or the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) before filing official returns or making binding financial decisions.

2. Accuracy of Calculations & “As-Is” Warranty

While we endeavor to keep our calculation formulas aligned with active public decrees (such as Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 and subsequent Ministerial Decisions), Penvy makes no guarantees regarding the absolute accuracy, completeness, or up-to-date status of the mathematical outputs.

  • The Application is provided to you “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • Penvy explicitly disclaims any liability for financial errors, filing penalties, missed deadlines, or interest charges incurred by you due to discrepancies between the app’s local calculation mechanics and official FTA assessments.

3. Monetization & Third-Party Advertisements

This Application is provided to you 100% free of charge and does not require paid subscriptions or in-app purchases to unlock its features.

  • Ad-Supported Model: In exchange for free access to these calculation modules and PDF generation tools, you acknowledge and agree that the Application will display third-party advertisements served via Google AdMob.
  • Ad Content: Penvy does not directly control or endorse the specific goods, services, or companies promoted in these banner or interstitial ads. Any interactions or transactions with advertisers are strictly between you and the third party.

4. Privacy & Data Handling

Your data privacy is a core pillar of our product design.

  • All financial figures, revenue inputs, net profits, and diagnostic checklist logs are processed locally on your device.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design assets, user interfaces, branding structures, logos, source code, and mathematical logic frameworks embedded within the Application are the exclusive intellectual property of Penvy and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and international treaty laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute any portion of the app code or design without explicit written consent from us.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Penvy, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, corporate goodwill, financial data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • The use or the inability to use the Application.
  • Any errors, omissions, or calculations compiled by the application tools.
  • Decisions made or actions taken by you in reliance on the app’s output.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting the updated text within the Application or on our official support web portal. Your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dubai, UAE.
